A Song for Summer

After a weekend of lovely and appreciative visitors …followed by poetry, and song – courtesy of the Big Lit one day festival at nearby Gatehouse of Fleet in glorious sunshine – my first time there – I’m set up for the week ahead. It’ll have to be good to follow that.

According to the Country Living Mag’ this month – …”the Solway Coast has been dubbed the Scottish Riviera for its sheltered anchorages and boaty villages”. Couldn’t agree more …having grown up around the River Dart in Devon.. I felt immediately at home and welcome here. There is nowhere quite like Kirkcudbright in the summer – come and find out for yourselves.

Today I installed another small exhibition of landscape photos in Mulberries Cafe in Kirkcudbright. If you havent been there …arguably – you havent been to Kirkcudbright. Highly recommended for food, information/gossip, meeting anyone who’s anyone (and the rest of us). See you there sometime soon.
