Spinning For A Time

Spinning For A Time

When time was motion dancing,
Music bound.
In us perpetual motion

Oceans living, breathing –
To the world’s edge bound.
Full-rythmic. Spinning
For a time.

An ocean of devotion,
Love inspired.
Lost, but found.

Shells, tossed upon a beach.
The Gull, it’s beak fierce.
The core of one more
Heart it pierced.

I knew that for moon
After moon,
I was the sea,
Till night washed over me.

Returning to the ocean’s mirror
I saw myself upon the shore,
Washed clean.
Becoming driftwood.
